Dusty Acre Blondes

Home to the first Homozygous Polled in Dawson Creek, BC, Canada

About

We are just a new breeder of the Blonde d'Aquitaine cattle in BC just north of Dawson Creek. Both Dave and I were raised on farms. Dave's parents had some cattle and they also grain farmed. Where we live now was his parent’s farm and he is the third generation here. My parents had cattle and just about a little mix of everything until Dad bought his first Blonde d'Aquitaine bulls. Mom and Dad fell in love with them and so did I. In 2003 we purchased our first five cows from my dad and yes it took a lot of talking on my part to convince Dave we should get a couple. We now have over 130 registered and commercial breeding females and that keeps me outside most days.
